A Cross-Sector Hub for Knowledge, Training & Collaboration

Virtual Living Academy – central hub integrating METNEDIA diagnostic technologies with steering group, community of practice, and asynchronous learning

The METNEDIA Virtual Living Academy (VLA) is a central pillar of the project's strategy to strengthen collaboration, accelerate knowledge transfer, and build long‑term research capacity across sectors and countries.

The VLA is designed as a cross‑sector hub that integrates all diagnostic‑related technologies used in the project and ensures that expertise generated through staff exchanges is preserved, expanded, and transferred across partners.

At the core of the VLA is the Community of Practice formed by the secondees. The VLA supports staff exchanges by acting as a virtual collaboration environment for asynchronous learning, structured training resources, and continuous interaction among partners. It also serves as a repository for methodologies, protocols, data, and best practices, ensuring that knowledge remains accessible during and after the project's implementation.
